I don’t get to see or photograph Eagles very often, but on this day back in June of 2014, that all changed. I was shooting up along the beach coastal areas, here in Oregon, when I spotted this guy up on a cliff. I waited 20 minutes until he finally launched and swooped down in front of me. At the time I had only my older Canon T1i camera which shoots at a burst rate of only 3.5 frames per second (fps) so I only had three shots as he flew by. The first image, I got his wing tip out of frame, the second was this one and the third, he was too far past me. I’m glad this one came out well. It is one of my best selling images. Printed on Torchon Fine Art paper. Available in 14” x 14” size.
