I had always wanted to shoot this angle of the Heceta Head Lighthouse on the Oregon Coast but because of the high winds and rain we get a lot of here, it just wasn’t safe. Then, one morning, in February of 2016, at a little after 7 am, the winds had calmed and the temperatures were in the 60’s. I scaled the side of the hill and captured it. I had to wait two years for the conditions to be right. It was worth the wait! Printed on Bamboo paper. Available in 30” x 16” size.
